On Tuesday, a box of books was delivered to the Jonesboro Branch of the Jackson Parish Library. What is the big deal about that you ask? The Library gets books all the time. True! But most of the time they know they are coming as they had ordered them. 

In this case, no one knew why they had received the box from MidAmerica Books. Upon opening, they soon learned. Inside was a whole bunch of children books and on the top was this….

There was also a note attached and this is where patrons of the JPL get to partake of the good fortune. The note said:

Greetings to you, the lucky finder of this Golden Ticket from MidAmerica Books. Tremendous things are in store for you. Many wonderful surprised await you and your readers! And now, here are your instructions. Share these books in your library. Show readers how books can entice, delight, inspire, intrigue, astonish and perplex beyond measure. 

So bring the family and come view all the new books that are on hand and available for check out. Who said Christmas is over?
