Hayden Davis commits to LSU-Shreveport Fishing Team

Over the past couple of years, Quitman High School senior, Hayden Davis, has made a name for himself by “setting the hook” on big bass. Now it is Davis that has been caught. 

This past week, Davis verbally committed to fish at the collegiate level next year with the Top-10, nationally ranked, Louisiana State University – Shreveport (LSUS) fishing team led by Coach Charles Thompson.

Davis, who along with partner with Maddox Duck, was a constant top finisher on the Northeast Louisiana High School Anglers tournament circuit while representing  Quitman High School, including coming in second place overall last year. In addition the talented angler landed the Big Bass Award at the LHSAA State Championship Fishing Tourney and he and Duck qualified for the National Fishing Championships.
