The Jackson Parish Recreation Department (JPRD) youth league baseball and softball seasons began play on Monday, April 6th at the JPRD Sports Complex, located at 5254 Hwy 4 East in Jonesboro, LA. A total of 36 teams, consisting of 432 young boys and girls ages 4-13, will compete in 5 age divisions in baseball and 4 more in softball.
Regular season games will be played on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, on the fields of the JPRD, refurbished with new turf for the 2026 season. To see complete rosters, schedules and standings of each league, go to jprec.org.
