Jackson Parish Hospital cuts ribbon on remodeled patient care wing

Many local Jackson Parish and Town of Jonesboro dignitaries joined with the administration of the Jackson Parish Hospital for a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony this past Thursday, March 18th. The gale event was held to celebrate the dedication of the remodeled and technologically, advanced patient wing that is scheduled to go into operation in May. Before all in attendance gathered outside to participate in the ribbon cutting, a tour of the newly designed and spacious, patient care rooms enhanced with the  revolutionary Nurse Call System was conducted by JPH Chief Executive Officer, John Morgan and Chief Operating Officer, Jason Thomas. The addition continues the impressive advancements made over the last couple of years at the JPH that include the incorporation of Tele-Medicine technology that has been effectively used in the Jackson Parish school system and in COVID-19 diagnosis, as well as, use of 3D mammography, implemented with an artificial-intelligence (AI) assisted Computed Tomography (CT) machine.
