Anne Blythe (Ledbetter) Mollere
October 8, 1964 – April 12, 2021

anneAnne Blythe (Ledbetter) Mollere, age 56, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 12th, 2021.  The 1982 Jonesboro-Hodge High School graduate was a resident of Kenner, LA and employed by the law firm of Chehardy, Sherman and Williams where she served in the capacity of a Paralegal. Anne was a devoted single parent and dog lover who was deeply involved with animal rescue concerns and adoption services.

Those left to cherish her memories are son, Roland Mollere; mother, Jane Ledbetter; and brother, Ben Ledbetter as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Sam Ledbetter. A private family graveside service will be held at the Gullatt Family Cemetery in Simsboro, LA on April 30, 2021 with Jonesboro United Methodist Pastor Paul Sterns presiding. Interment of her ashes will be under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro. 

In lieu of flowers in Anne’s memory and to help continue the work to save and protect abused animals which she was dedicated to it is requested that a donation be made in her name to the Animal Rescue Center of your choice or any local animal shelter.

Jerry Wayne Morris
May 11, 1966 – April 15, 2021

jerryJerry Wayne Morris died Thursday, April 15 th , at home surrounded by his daughters and his loving wife after his fight with terminal cancer. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Lolie Harrison and Clyde and Sallie Morris, his father, Jimmy Ray Morris, his father-in-law, Huey Vern Gates, his dad, William Dan Bridges, his brother, Gary Lee Morris, and his best friend, Luis Rivera.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Lea Gates Morris of Crossett, his daughters, Amanda Lea Morris Roberson and husband, Dex Roberson of Lonoke, AR., Leanna Marie Morris and husband, Brandon Odom of Jonesboro, and Hannah Elizabeth Morris of Crossett, AR, and three grandsons, Jonah Morris, James Morris Odom and Leo Morris Odom.

He is also survived by his mother, Opal Dean Harrison Bridges of Jonesboro, LA, his Siblings: Tammy Gates Sutton and husband, Bobby of Quitman, LA, Terri Gates Curry and husband, Myron of Quitman, LA, Jimmy Carlton Morris and wife, Penny of Quitman, LA, Veda Morris Diamond and husband, Sam of Monroe, LA, and Frank LeRoy Morris of Ruston, LA, his nephews: Jeremy Sutton and wife, Monica, JP McMillan, Trae McMillan, Alex McMillan, Devin Curry, Hunter Curry, Joshua Morris, Justin Morris and wife, Holly, Nathan Morris and wife, Nicole, and Gary Morris and wife, Mandy, his nieces: Kristen Sutton, Stephanie Jordan, Allenia Allen and husband, Matthew, Michaela Lyons and husband, Ben, Samantha Morris, Kasey Stringer and husband, Josh, and his great nephews and nieces: Molly Sutton, Jack Sutton, Reed
McMillan, Cohen McMillan, Garrett Morris, Jared Morris, Judah Allen, Josiah Allen, Sarina Allen, Landon Lyons, Addison Lyons, Madison Stringer, Molly Stringer, Robbie Morris, Claire Morris, Kaytlyn Morris, Justin Morris, Gage Morris, Shae Morris, and Colt Morris.

Jerry was born in Brewton, Alabama on May 11th, 1966 to Jimmy Ray and Opal. He later moved to Louisiana where he would meet and marry his high school sweetheart, Tina Lea Gates. They went on to have three beautiful girls together who they would raise in Crossett, AR where he worked for Georgia Pacific for 26 years starting as a chemist then as the environmental manager for the last 15 years. He gained two sons and three grandsons who he adored. He loved his
family and made them and God his main priority for the entirety of his life. It would be difficult to find a more honest and loyal man with more integrity and grit. He gave without thought of himself, found no problem he could not solve, and kept his faith in Jesus until his final breathe. He will be missed and held in our hearts forever.

Friends may visit with the family at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel 5:00pm ~ 9:00pm Sunday, April 18,2021 and at North Hodge First Assembly of God 2:00pm until service time Monday. Funeral services will begin at 3:00pm with Bro. Michael Whitman and Bro. Geary Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Gayla Traina Memorial Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Etna Jordan
April 30, 1958 – April 12, 2021

etnaMrs. Etna Annette Jordan, age 62 of Jonesboro, crossed from our world into Heaven on Monday, April 12, 2021. She was a member of Jonesboro Assembly of God. Mrs. Etna was a God fearing Christian lady, a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Cleve Jordan; daughters, Melissa Jordan, Carrie Jordan; stepdaughters, Kim Sills, Tracy Rhodes; grandchildren, Skylar Jordan, Devon Jordan, Hailey Jordan, Shaelynn Jordan, Katie Rhodes, M.J. Rhodes, Angella Norman, Taylor Dunn; great granddaughter, Madison Dunn; brother, Arevel Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Odessa (Roberts) Jones; brother, Doug Jones.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the Jonesboro Assembly of God with Reverend Bubba Walsworth officiating. Burial followed in Fellowship Cemetery, near Quitman, under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.
