Lauren Maxwell of Weston and Jada Naron from Quitman High School are two of only six softball players in Class B to be named to the composite Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) 2020-21 All-Academic Girls Softball Team. The pair earned the honor after compiling a perfect 4.0 GPA over the course of the year. 

Also being named Academic All State in their respective classes is Jakaja Phillips of Jonesboro-Hodge in Class 2A and both Madison Coody and Macie Hall from Weston. Phillips had a 3.6078 GPA while Coody and Hall compiled a 3.6604 and 3.6793 GPA respectively. Araya Coleman of Quitman was also named to the Class B team in tennis by virtue of her 3.8823 GPA.
