It’s not often that if one would say that the Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office (JPSO) was getting “skinned” that Sherriff Andy Brown would be pleased. This time he doesn’t mind though as it means that the future new “digs” of the JPSO is nearing the time when relocation from the Courthouse will take place.
The ongoing renovation of the former Ivan Smith Furniture store located on Hwy 167 south took another big step this past week when the “skin” insulation was put up enclosing the massive redesign work that has been taking place on the interior.
“Everything is still pretty much on schedule and we are eagerly looking forward to relocating to our new home soon,” said Brown recently.
According to the planned renovation schedule it is estimated that the JPSO will be in their new location sometime around mid June.
