
Linda Diane Coker
September 3, 1952 – May 28, 2021
Mrs. Linda Diane (Raborn) Coker entered into Heaven on Friday, May 28, 2021 to meet her Savior, Jesus Christ, her family and friends gone before her. Linda was the church secretary at North Hodge First Assembly of God church for 42 years and had a deep love and relationship with her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was an extremely avid L.S.U. football fan and could get totally involved in every game. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with and talking with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Rodney Coker; daughters, Haley Hightower & Ron, Allison Dark & Nicholas, Bethany Rosenstern & Josh; grandchildren, Morgan Hightower, Logan Hightower, Alex Dark, Adriana Dark, Jonah Rosenstern, Noah Rosenstern; mother, Eva Faye Raborn; siblings, Ronnie Raborn & Carla, Carla Peters & Mike; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Coker was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Raborn and brother, Scotty Raborn.
Friends may visit with the family 11:00am – 12:00pm Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the North Hodge First Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm with Rev. Geary Phillips and Rev. Lance Huckaby officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Ron Hightower, Nicholas Dark, Josh Rosenstern, Logan Hightower, Chad Raborn, Shane Peters.
Charles August McLean
August 13, 1943 – May 14, 2021
Charles August McLean, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior May 14, 2021.
He graduated Jonesboro-Hodge High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for the Hodge Mill for 24 years before coming an entrepreneur in the paper business where he was paper broker, owned his own paper bag and sheeting plant and was a partner in a box board plant.
Mr. McLean enjoyed his leisure time fishing at Old Saline Lake when he was not spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving father that worked hard to provide for his family. His greatest joy in life were his children and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Lisa McLean, Suzanne (McLean) Burkhalter and David, Melinda McLean, Chuck McLean and Melissa; grandchildren, Lindsey Gordon, Megan Moffett, Lexi Foster, Savannah Amram, Brittany Moffett, Arielle Murph, Logan McLean, David Michael Burkhalter, Sarrah Ross, Trever McLean, Sierrah Long, Ayres Burkhalter, Ansley Long, Quinn McLean; great-grandchildren, Jayda Naron, Lexi Lloyd, Baily Moffett, Adan Lloyd, Rylan Naron, Devon Moffett, Ava Amram, Ashlyn Amram, Syler Moffett, Luke Gordon, Patty Amram, Lily Gordon, David Amram, Juliet Ross; Sister: Rosemary (McLean) Prado; Cousin, Halbrook McLean and Margret McLean.
Mr. McLean was preceded in death by his parents, Jeanne and Donald McLean; brother and sisters, Phil Mclean, Donna Sutton, Paula Magee.
Friends may visit with the family at Jonesboro First Baptist Church 5:00pm ~ 6:30pm, Thursday, June 3, 2021. Memorial services will follow at 6:30pm with Dr. Reggie Bridges officiating. There will be no burial ceremony.
Sherry Ada Simmons
July 21, 1985 – May 24, 2021
Mrs. Sherry (Tims) Simmons, age 35 of Jonesboro, died Monday, May 24, 2021. Mrs. Simmons was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and participating in the activities of her children.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Daniel “Danny” Simmons; children, John Simmons Jr, James Simmons, Noah Simmons; siblings, James Tims, Sugar Tims Vines, Timothy Tims, Ted Tims, Candy Ann Tims, Phillip Tims, Cherry Tims; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, James Raydale & Angel Wilson Tims.
Friends may visit with the family 10:00~11:30am Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the chapel of Edmonds Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 12:00pm at Harmony Grove Cemetery near Dodson under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home
David Allen Harmon
May 18, 1960 – May 28, 2021
Mr. David Allen Harmon, age 61 of Dodson, died Friday, May 28, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Harmon was a member of Antioch Bible Way church and loved all of his family and his church family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Dustin Harmon, Robert Harmon, Cory Harmon; grandchildren, Kimberly Harmon, Stormy Jones, Harley Jones; siblings, Richard Harmon & Susan, George Harmon & Kathy, Albert Shavers & Sheila, Bo Truelove & Beth, Karla Harmon Boop & Dave; step-mother, Gail Harmon; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friends, Glenn & Stella Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mayo Denzil & Ann Murray Truelove; father, Joe Truelove.
Funeral services were held in the Edmonds Funeral Home chapel on Monday, Mat 31st with Rev. Richard Harmon officiating. A private interment service followed under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home. Serving the family as pallbearers were Albert Shavers, Bo Truelove, George Harmon, Nicholas Truelove, Bud Anderson, Anthony Harmon, Glen Jones, Ronnie Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers were his church family at Antioch Bible Way Church
