New awning to help make thing cooler for businesses on 6th street in Jonesboro

It was already a pretty cool thing to be able to go shopping for items at Serendipity or get lunches or pastries at Traina’s Bakery but now doing business at the two locations in the 200 block of 6th street in Jonesboro has gotten even cooler for patrons. Literally! That is because a new awing has been put into place that will greatly help reduce the effects of the summer heat that was previously blaring uncontested through the front windows. The new black cloth and frame addition replaces the former metal awning that covered the sidewalk that was destroyed when Hurricane Laura ripped through Jackson Parish last August.
