The Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District (JPASD) will hold their regularly scheduled monthly meeting at 12:00pm on Thursday, September 9th. The session will take place at the administrative office of the JPASD, located at 115 Watts Street in Jonesboro.
Highlighting the agenda items is discussion regarding the substantial completion of the Training Center past the August 4th deadline. Also on tap is a report on ambulance transport time and distance a report by EMS Director, Aaron Johnson and approval of financials, bills to pay and minutes from meetings in July and August.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, visitors who are exhibiting symptoms such as fever, cough, diarrhea, or general weakness are asked not to attend the meeting. Masks will be provided for visitors.
JPASD responds to needs of Hurricane Ida survivors
In an effort to provide as much help as possible following the devastation to south Louisiana by Hurricane Ida, several members of the JPASD traveled south to lend assistance.
“We are grateful for the brave men and women of the Jackson Parish Ambulance Service District for providing relief to those affected by the hurricane,” said a spokesman for the Louisiana Ambulance Alliance.
