
Brad Roller is the new Operations Manage and Office of Emergency Preparedness (OEP) Director for Jackson Parish. The Weston native has his office on the 3rd floor of the Courthouse in the old Police Jury office as well as a secondary location at the Jackson Parish Police Jury (JPPJ)Administrative Building located at 160 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.
“We are very excited to welcome Mr. Brad Roller to our team as our Operations Manager and appointed OEP Director,” said JPPJ Secretary/Treasurer Gina Thomas. “He hit the ground running during his first week with us as we prepared for Hurricane Ida and we were very fortunate to have him and his expertise leading our preparation efforts.”
Roller comes to the Operations Manager and OEP Director position after spending the last eight years as Chief Warrant Officer 3, Maintenance and Logistics Officer and Disaster Response/Emergency Management Coordinator for the National Guard.
Roller is married to the former Karen Whitlock of Ouachita Parish and has four children. He is a 1997 graduate from Weston High School in 1997. Prior to taking the new positions for the JPPJ he was employed by the National Guard for 24 years, spending the last eight years as Chief Warrant Officer 3, Maintenance and Logistics Officer and Disaster Response/Emergency Management Coordinator.
