Various Board and Committee meetings to take place Wednesday and Thursday

This Wednesday and Thursday, September 15-16, will see its share of Board and Committee meetings across the parish. The high volume of activity for the two-day period begins with the Jackson Parish Police Jury (JPPJ) Grants Committee holding session at 12:15pm in the Nathaniel Zeno Jr. Meeting Room of the JPPJ Administrative Building, located at 160 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro on Wednesday. The JPPJ Operations Committe is slated to meet at 5:15pm at the same location. It is possible that a quorum of the Police Jury may be in attendance at the meeting, but no action of the Police Jury as a whole will be taken.

Thursday, September 16th

On Thursday, the Jackson Parish Watershed Board will hold session at 5:00pm on Thursday, September 16th. The regularly scheduled monthly meeting will take place in the Sunshine Room of the JPPJ Administrative Building. One hour later, at 6:00pm, the Jonesboro Fire Protection District will meet at the Jonesboro Fire Department building, located at 104 4th St.
