October 12, 2021
A public hearing will be held October 12th, 2021 at 5:45 p.m. to discuss the purposed Ordinance #2021-010 Nuisances. An ordinance amending section 20-55 of the code of ordinances of the Town of Jonesboro by adding thereto a section (d) defining noxious weeds or grass or other deleterious, unhealthful or noxious growths, providing for matters related thereto and providing an effective date for the amendment.

Sealed bids will be received at the Jackson Parish Recreation District office for the following:
The sale of timber located at 524 Club House Drive located in Jackson Parish. Sale requirements include but are not limited to the following: +/- 60 acres for thinning, clean chipping and fuel chipping, pine and hardwood sawtimber and pulpwood. Bids shall be delivered as price per ton of merchantable material to be removed from site.
Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021.
The Jackson Parish Recreation District reserves the right to reject all bids. In case of an exact tie, both parties shall agree to the flip of a coin to determine winning bid.
