J. T. Allen
September 05, 1929 – November 29, 2021

Mr. J.T. Allen, age 92 of Jonesboro, went to his Heavenly home on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was a hard working family man with a good heart. He enjoyed racing cars on the old dirt track for fun and the occasional vacation when he found the time. He like to fish and was able to find time to do some fishing when he lived on the lake. He will be best remembered for his strong work ethic. His family was his heart and he will be dearly missed.

Mr. Allen is survived by his two daughters, Beverly Bole and husband Bill of Start, La, Jerry Hemphill and husband Alfred of Jonesboro, La; two sons, Jimmy Allen of Eros, La, Danny Allen of Jonesboro,La, Tanya Allen of Jonesboro, La; grandchildren, Andy Bole, Brandy Bole, Joey and Lisa Culpepper, J.J. and Jennifer Culpepper, Jeff and Brandy Culpepper, Nicole Allen, Bridget Gibbs, Amanda and Brad Wright, Dana Roberts, Daniel and Tina Allen; great grandchildren, Kele, Hunter, Josh, Jada, John Michael, Kaylee, Jaden, Jayden, Julia, Kolby, Devin, Logan, Landon, Layken, Darin, Tanner, Aubrie, Brittany, Amy, Ashley; great-great grandchildren, Ellery, Chandler, Gannon, Waverly, Henley, Brookelynn.

He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Geraldine Williams Allen; grandchild, Jamie Allen; parents, James Thomas and Gillie (Oliver) Allen; siblings, Willie Mae Willis, Vera Burnum, Helen Howard, Clotile Herald, Charlie Allen, O.K. Allen.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in the chapel of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Morrow officiating. Burial followed in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home.

Serving the family as pallbearers were Joey Culpepper, J.J. Culpepper, Jeff Culpepper, Daniel Allen, Chris Roberts, Brad Wright.

Dr. Everette Vance Culpepper
August 31, 1937 – November 26, 2021

Dr. Everette V. Culpepper, age 84 of Jonesboro, was led into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 26, 2021. Dr. Culpepper was a kind man who pastored churches in multiple states and also published several books. He loved the Lord, his family and his friends and enjoyed the time that he had here on this earth to share his love.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ivy Jean Harper Culpepper of Jonesboro; son, Michael Vance Culpepper & wife Cynthia of Walkersville, Maryland; siblings, Howard Culpepper & wife Patricia of Huntsville, Alabama, Mike A. Culpepper of West Monroe, Louisiana, Lynnette Sandidge of Jonesboro, Louisiana, Nelda Jane Oliver & husband Paxton of West Monroe, Louisiana, Margaret Brumfield and husband Pat of Jonesboro, Louisiana; step-daughters, Linda Marshall of Springfield, Oregon, Diann Gillaspie and Roberta Weaver, both of Hagerstown, Maryland; step-sons, Ron Standiford and wife Melody of Oakland, Oregon, David Culpepper and wife Donna of Jonesboro, Louisiana, Billy Culpepper, Jr. and wife Lori of Aspermont, Texas; grandchildren, Christianna Culpepper, Kaitlyn Culpepper, Ian Culpepper, Kristin Standiford, Bethany Jackson, Raymond Marshall, Laurie Morris, Sarah Gillaspie, John Weaver, Sherrie Bare, Teresa Rohwer, Cody Culpepper, Jessica Warren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to honor Dr. Culpepper will be held at a later date.

Gary “Boudro” Browning
August 7, 1956 – November 26, 2021

Mr. Gary W. “Boudro” Browning, age 65 of Dodson, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 following a lengthy period of declining health. Mr. Browning was a retired contract logger who loved being outdoors. He enjoyed the beauty of nature and all of its aspects. He loved riding his motorcycle and he followed the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He cherished the time that he had with his family an his friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Gregory W. Browning and wife Angela, Kelley Browning, and daughter, Jessica Browning-Latham; seven grandchildren; brothers, Joe Lynn Browning and wife Pam, Danny Browning; sister, Frances Chellette; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death are his parents, Joe Francis & Mattie Helene Wilson Browning; sisters, Charlotte Kirtley and Rhonda Copeland.

There will be a memorial service to honor Gary Wayne to be held at a later date.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital in memory of Mr. Browning.
