A light agenda for the final regular monthly meeting of the Chatham Town Council was highlighted by the approval to two mobile home applications and a Resolution to rename the Water Improvement 2020 bank account to Town of Chatham ARPA account.
It was Dottie and Yolanda Saulsberry who received approval of their application at meeting held at the Chatham Town Hall on December 14th, by council members Marvin Davis, Laverne Mixon, Sue Ann Proffer and Mike Wilson. Toni Malone was absent. The applications are contingent upon fulfillment of Ordinance 12-126 and Ordinance 12-164.
In other action witnessed by visitors Sue Henderson and John Mize, as well as, Mayor Gregory Harris the Council approved the November meeting minutes, financial statement and payment of monthly bills. The audit for fiscal year 2019-20 was also approved as was a Resolution that set the date and time for meeting in 2022.
