Betty Ann Rogers
March 4, 1933 – January 17, 2022
Mrs. Betty Ann Rogers, age 88 of Jonesboro, was called home Monday, January 17, 2022 following a period of declining health. Mrs. Rogers was a loving Mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert W. Rogers, Jr., David M. Rogers and Scott R. Rogers; brother, Bill Gaines; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband of 60 plus years, Robert W. Rogers, Sr.; parents, Enoch E. and Mary (Shaffer) Gaines; brothers, Roy Gaines and Bob Gaines.
Friends may visit with the family Monday, January 24th from 5:00pm ~ 7:00pm in the chapel of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Annabelle Lee Loe
August 11, 1933 – January 16, 2022
Annabelle Lee Loe, age 88, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. Mrs. Loe was a dedicated Educator who taught fourth and fifth grade for twenty years. She then taught kindergarten for the last ten years of her career. Mrs. Loe loved to deer hunt and fish with her husband Johnny and was an avid LSU Football fan. She taught Sunday school for many years at Gracepoint Church of the Nazarene in Shreveport.
Mrs. Loe leaves her husband of sixty-four years, Mr. Johnny Loe, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Lewis Henry Reese; her mother, Edna Elvina (Coffman) Reese; and her sisters, Dorothy Reese and Marilyn Reese.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 20th at the Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Quitman.
