The Student Athlete of the week for the last week of January has been announced. In the ongoing program sponsored by the Jackson Parish Hospital, a student / athlete from Jonesboro-Hodge, Quitman and Weston High Schools are chosen by select faculty and staff of each school who best demonstrates athletic achievement and exemplifies academic excellence each week.
This week award winners are:
Allen Tew – Boys basketball player at JHHS
Blake Carter – Boys basketball player at QHS
Emma Kate McBride – Girls basketball player at WHS
