Locals lead LA Elite to HoopPlay USA tournament victory

Three girls who prepped for local area schools have led the LA Elite girls basketball team to the varsity girls division championship of the HOOPLAY USA Toad Suck Tournament (yes, that is the actual name)  that was held recently in Conway, AR.

Leading the way for the only team from the state of Louisiana to the tournament title was Georgia Robinson of Saline High who scored 31 points total in victories over Spa City Lady Elite and Arkansas Queens. Emma Kate McBride of Weston and Brayli Stewart of Quitman chipped in with 24 points and 20 points respectively. Ty Oliver of CE Byrd in Shreveport added 22 points and Alicia Skains from D’Arbonne Woods in Farmerville chipped in with 11 over the two games.

LA Elite will next play in the BOOT Tournament that will be held in Baton Rouge, LA on May 14th and 15th. To view action from the tournament click here
