Kensley Caskey of Quitman High School named winner of Congressional Art Competition

Kensley Caskey of Quitman High School has been named by Louisiana 5th District Congresswoman Julia Letlow the winner of the2022 Congressional Art Competition. By virtue of her submittal American Retirement (shown in banner above) being selected, Kensley has earned a trip to Washington D. C. where she will get to see her artwork displayed in the United States Capitol. 

The Congressional Institute is proud to sponsor “An Artistic Discovery,” the U.S. House of Representatives’ official art competition for high school students. Every year, House Members honors one high school student from their district by selecting a piece of artwork for inclusion in an exhibit at the U.S. Capitol which millions of visitor’s view.
