The Beautification of Jonesboro project continued this past week with a control burn by the Jonesboro Fire Department (JFD) of an abandoned house on Collins Street. The project is designed to rid the town of unsightly and possibly dangerous structures while at the same time giving training to fire fighters in a non-emergency setting.
