South Jonesboro features new panoramic view

It isn’t part of the ongoing, Beautification of Jonesboro Project, but one of the largest land clearing endeavors to take place within the city limits in over half a century has certainly changed the scenery for the better.

What was a dense wooded area that lay between South Polk and South Hudson and to the north of Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School has now been completely cleared, leaving a panoramic view of the landscape and surrounding area. The project is result of the expansion of the graxing area of the Garrett Cattle Company and C&J Show Goats ranching enterprises.
