
It isn’t part of the ongoing, Beautification of Jonesboro Project, but one of the largest land clearing endeavors to take place within the city limits in over half a century has certainly changed the scenery for the better.
What was a dense wooded area that lay between South Polk and South Hudson and to the north of Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School has now been completely cleared, leaving a panoramic view of the landscape and surrounding area. The project is result of the expansion of the graxing area of the Garrett Cattle Company and C&J Show Goats ranching enterprises.
