James Troy (Dickie) Walsworth
July 11, 1953 – June 13, 2022
Mr. James Troy “Dickie” Walsworth, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 in Jonesboro.
Dickie was a long term resident of Forest Haven Nursing Home and could be found many days greeting visitors as they entered the facility. He was very friendly and never met a stranger. Dickie loved Mari Gras and often wore his multi-colored beads and purple cap.
Mr. Walsworth is survived by his cousins, Johnny Runyon and wife Sharon, Sonny Hathaway and wife Dorinda, Jimmy Hathaway and wife Georgia, Glen Runyon; and aunt, Mary V. Runyon. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Troy Walsworth; mother, Ruth (Watkins) Walsworth, and cousin, Ginger (Hathaway) Pullin.
Friends may visit on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Southern Edmonds Chapel from 10 am until 11 am. The funeral service will follow at 11 am with Bro. Charles Wesley officiating. Burial will be at the Garden Of Memories in Jonesboro.
