Police Jury handles organizational details in special called meeting

The Jackson Parish Police Jury held a special called meeting on Thursday, June 30th where four agenda items of necessary attention was handled. With Lewis Chatham, Amy Magee, Regina Rowe and President Lynn Treadway in attendance, the following was voted in.
(1) Replacement of former Secretary / Treasurer, Gina Thomas, with Operations Manager, Brad Roller, for full cash management and online banking access and authorization on all accounts at Jonesboro State Bank based on the recommendation of the Finance Committee. Juror member, Amy Magee, recused herself from the vote due to her being an employee of the Jonesboro State Bank.
(2) Changes in the Road Department organizational chart  that was recommended by the Policy & Personnel Committee.
(3) Update to the Job Description for Mechanic at the Road Department to Mechanic I and Mechanic II based on the recommendation of the Policy & Personnel Committee.
(4) Post the Mechanic I position per the recommendation of the Policy and Personnel Committee.
