The annual Jackson Parish Chamber of Commerce banquet will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. There will be a social hour and silent auction from 6 to 7 PM with a dinner and program to follow at 7 PM. Dress for the occasion will be business dress.
Teddy Allen, North Louisiana writer who is known for his funny wit will be speaker. Allen has been selected for the 2022 Distinguished Service Award in Sports Journalism from the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.
Allen, who has been a north Louisiana feature columnist for over 30 years, has been nationally recognized for his writings while working in Shreveport, New Orleans and Ruston. He is currently working with Journal Services, Inc .Of which the Jackson Parish Journal is a member . He is the author of three books, has been very supportive of The University communication department at his alma mater Louisiana Tech, since 2008, and has been part of the Louisiana Hall of Fame selection committee for two decades.
Tickets will be $25 per person or a table sponsorship of $250 which allows you eight tickets. A table sponsorship allows you to be seated with friends and business associates. You are encouraged to book a reservation as soon as possible since there is a limited number of available tables. Tables are assigned after receiving payment.
With a corporate sponsorship your logo will be on the back of the program, your name will be on a sign at the entrance, special recognition will be given during the banquet, and the sponsorship also includes two tickets.
