Beautification of Jonesboro Project moves uptown

After several weeks of burning houses in some of the outlying neighborhoods the Beautification of Jonesboro Project moved uptown. Becoming the latest, in what is now becoming a long line of buildings and structures that have been burned by the Jonesboro Fire Department, the abandoned residence at 115 Allen Avenue was brought down to the foundation.

As part of the ongoing project if a resident or land owner of property within the city limits of Jonesboro has an unsafe or unsightly structure they want removed from their property they can contact City Hall The Town of Jonesboro at 318-259-2385 to have it put on the list.

Jonesboro Fire Department Chief Brandon Brown issues a reminder that anyone who has asked the town to include their ownings to be part of the project that it is the responsibility of the owner to remove all debris left over. Failure to do so could result in fine and penatly.
