Shane Rowe leads Team Louisiana to 2nd place at National 4-H Archery Competition

He was nearly head taller than the other three members on his team. Shane Rowe, representing the Quitman High School 4-H Club, stood even taller when it came to Team Louisiana’s second place finish in the 4-H National Shooting Sports Championship held June 25- July 1 in Grand Island, Nebraska

Rowe had the best score for Team Louisiana in the Indviducal Compound Archery and Indvidual Compound Archery 3D competition. He also had top 20 finishes in the Compound Archery Field and Compound Archery FITA Individual divisions. 

Team Louisiana scored 2.8893% on a 3.00 percentage scale to finish as national runner-up in the Compound Archery Division, trailing only Kansas which registered 2.9973%. Addtional team members were Cole Adams, Matthes Crawford and Cameron Fusilier.
