The Jackson Parish Sheriff’s Office (JPSO) and the Jonesboro Police Department (JPD) partnered with the Jackson Parish Library (JPL) to introduce the program of Youth Focused Community Policing to the children of Jackson Parish this past week.

The event included Deputy Bailey and K-9 Niko of the JPSO providing a demonstration, as well as, JPD intern, A’Brianna Paggett, introducing the program to the youth assembled at the Jonesboro Branch of the Jackson Parish Library. Officer Dieter, Officer Jackson and Officer Swadford of the JPD also particpated in the informative program.
