Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library reaches milestone locally

July 29th was a Red Letter Day for the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL).
The cause for the celebration was that a milestone had been reached as the number of children in Jackson, Bienville, Winn, and Lincoln parishes that have been poistively impacted by the benevolent program  went over ONE THOUSAND.
Kudos to the parents and guardians who are encouraging the development of children under 5 by registering them to receive a FREE age-appropriate book each month. JSb / Pledge 10 and Pine Belt Multi-Purpose Community Action Agency are proud to offer this opportunity to our precious young people.
A huge thank you goes to those who encourage friends and family to register, the public libraries and educators who share registration information, news sources that helped spread the word, and so many more!
Much appreciation goes to the Jonesboro State Bank management who gave an immediate YES to the idea to bring DPIL to the area after a brainstorming session that included Conchita Malone-Doyle on ways to share our commitment to education and youth development with the littlest ones in our community.
