
Sunday, September 25th, was a special time that was celebrated by the congregation and staff of the Chatham Community Church as they worshipped together for the first time in their very own building. The purchase of the former Chatham United Methodist Church property from the Board of Trustees of the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, South Central Jurisdiction, comes 18 months after being incorporated as an independent Wesleyan congregation.
“The papers have been filed with the Jackson Parish Clerk of Court so it’s the Lords and our now,” stated CCC Pastor, Layla Ball, in a Facebook post. “We are incredibly excited about the future and are excited and encouraged about joining our sister churches in ministry to the Chatham community.
