Flu shots will be available this Thursday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jackson Parish Health Unit at 228 Bond St., Jonesboro. COVID-19 primary series and bivalent boosters will also be offered.
The shots are free and available at no cost to individuals who are insured, have Medicaid or Medicare coverage, or are uninsured. There are no out-of-pocket costs; however, if you have insurance it will be billed. If you have insurance or coverage, bring along a valid insurance card. Any existing COVID-19 vaccine cards will be updated. The shots are available to anyone ages 6 months and older.
