Jackson Parish 4-H Junior Leaders hear from DART during October meeting

The Jackson Parish 4-H Junior Leaders held their monthly meeting this past Tuesday, October 4th, at the Charles H Garrett Community Center located at 182 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.

Headling the session of the 7th-12th grade 4-H members was a representative from the Jackson Parish Domestic Abuse Resistance Team (DART) who shared information on Domestic Violence issues and Teen Dating Violence.

Following the informative presentation the Junior Leaders worked on t-shirt designs, the literacy project and shared ideas regarding the upcoming fall fundraiser. Before the group shared their evening meal of tacos, Jana and Sebastian won a special drawing from club members who had fully completed the 4-H Online registration process.
