The selections of Student Athlete of the Week for October 9th – 15th has been announced. The award, that is sponsored by the Jackson Parish Hospital, recognizes a student athlete from Jonesboro-Hodge, Quitman and Weston High Schools as chosen by select faculty and staff from each school. Each honoree is selected after best exemplifing what it means to be a true student athlete through academic acheivement and athletic accomplishment.

LeRonda McGuire (10th Grade) – Tiger Paw member at Jonesboro-Hodge High School
Carly Jo Griffin (7th Grade) – Girls Softball player at Weston High School
Brenna Lamkin  (7th Grade) – Girls Softball player at Quitman High School
