There is nothing that helps adorn a Thanksgiving meal like sweet potatoes and pecans. There is an opportunity that now only helps you obtain these two “Turkey Day” staples but also helps a tremendous group of young individuals raise money for their upcoming endeavors. That is what is called a “WIn-Win.”
The Jackson Parish 4-H Junior Leaders are offering sweet potatoes and pecans through October 21st. To place an order contact a Junior Leader or call the 4-H office at 318-259-5690. All orders will be available for pick-up on Monday, November 21st from 8:00am – 5:00pm at the LSU AgCenter Office, located on the side of the Charles H. Garrett Community Center, at 182 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro.
