Last week Dillon Pardue of Weston High School had one of those day’s. All on the same day he was named the school athlete of the week, received a scholarship and sold a piece of art he created. The kind of day that would happen oinly once in a lifetime right? Not for this outstanding senior. For Pardue it seems like those “once in a lifetime” kind of days are now happening “once a week”.
The latest “greatest day of your life” took place on Monday, when after thinking that his high school cross country career was over, he found out he had qualified and got to run in the Division IV State Cross Country meet held in Natchitoches. While there he was awarded as one of only four Class B competitors to be named to the LHSAA Composite Academic All-State team after compiling a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Congratulations to Dillon on ANOTHER great day!
