JHHS Ag Students make parking signs for J-H Elementary School

Jonesboro-Hodge High School Ag Department has been busy as bees! From selling Christmas displays to building tote boxes, Ms. Angela Shows has been teaching her classes how to be carpenters.

Improvements to the J-HHS campus have been the building of benches and picnic tables. These items are being used for the students during breakfast and lunch times.

J-HHS Ag Department was also asked to build parking signs for Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School. This was an event that we were glad to do!

Plans are also underway to reintroduce the greenhouse. Learning to cultivate and grow plants is an essential skill in agriculture. Ms. Shows is determined that her students learn these necessary skills for future needs.

Come Spring, students will be selling hanging baskets, varieties of tomatoes, bell peppers, and many other plants. We will also be selling picnic tables and plant/hummingbird feeder stands so please be on the lookout for this upcoming news.
