Emma Kate McBride was a star on the basketball court at Weston High School. She will continue to be a Star in college after announcing that she has committed to continue her basketball career at South Arkansas Community College. The senior guard will head to the school located in El Dorado, AR this fall after leading WHS to a 25-7 overall record and the championship of district 1B. McBride finished the season averaging 13.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game and a team leading 58 three pointers. The aggressive floor general chose South Arkansas CC after also receiving offers from Centenary College in Shreveport and Louisiana Christian College in Pineville.
