The Chatham Branch of the Jackson Parish Library, located at 1500 Pine Street, closes out the month of February with two events this week. The first begins on Thursday, February 23rd with MOVIE MANIA where Wakanda Forever will be shown free of charge to patrons beginning at 4:00pm. Popcorn and refreshments will be available. From 10:00 – 11:15am on Saturday, February 25th, Alfonzo Brooks will be on hand to conduct a dance class and give a performance for patrons from the ages of 6 and up. Come learn more about the history of African American Dance Culture and the moves of dances from old school, new school and hip hop.
