President, Yumeaka R. Washington, is excited to announce that the annual Jackson Parish Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Family Life Center of the First Baptist Church, 500 S. Cooper Avenue, Jonesboro, LA 71251. The event will begin at 6:00 PM with a social hour and silent auction followed by a program and dinner at 7:00 PM.
The Honorable John F.K. Belton, District Attorney for the Third Judicial District – Parishes of Lincoln and Union, will serve as our speaker. Mr. Belton is a career prosecutor who has dedicated 30 years to serving his community as a courtroom advocate. He is totally vested in service and is associated with numerus community and civic groups (past and present). His exemplary community service has also yielded commendations from numerous organizations. Belton and his wife, Alana (a former prosecutor) have been married for 26 years and have served as Christian marriage counselors. They are the proud parents of two adult children, Alexis and Jon Randall. They share a strong commitment to their faith, family and service to the community.
Tickets are $25 per person or a table sponsorship of $250.00 which allows eight (8) tickets per table and the opportunity for you to be seated with friends and business associates. We have a limited number of tables so you are encouraged to reserve your table immediately.
Corporate sponsorships are also available and include the following; logo and name on the back of the program, name on the entrance sign, special recognition during the banquet along with two (2) banquet tickets.

The 2023 Sunshine Festival and Antique Car Show will take place on April 15,2023 beginning with a parade for children ages 2-7 yrs @ 10 AM with prizes given for the most decorated with sunflowers or sunshines. From 1:00 – 4:00pm There will be a zydeco band playing in the pocket part beginning at 1 PM to 4 PM and Vendors will open from beginning to end with all kind of festival food, arts and craft.
