The Efficiency Expert
Years ago, our son-in-law returned home to his family after two months of military training. The excitement and joy of his return was overshadowed by frustration of the airlines losing his baggage. I have traveled by both planes and buses many times in my lifetime and not once did I lose baggage.
Fortunately, our son-in-law’s bags were located and brought directly to their home.
God has provided us with all needed baggage; He even places gifts inside. He equips us for service of ministry. Equipping of the saints comes with the Lord’s personal guarantee. Gifts cannot be lost or taken away.
“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable (Romans 11:29 NKJV).”
Owners of lost luggage need to buy essentials for use until the missing baggage is returned. My mother wisely packed needed items in her carry on; she carried a tooth brush and paste and an extra set of undergarments.
God has thought of everything; He knew what we’d need.
“For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8b NKJV).”
He’s THE efficiency expert.
God has made our trip itinerary; packed our bags with gifts and power.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8 NKJV).”
