Joey Bagwell and Mark Price won the 2023 “Fishing For A Cure” Charity Bass Tournament that was held on Caney Lake this past Saturday but the real winners were the children of St. Jude Hospital, who the benefit tourney was held for.

By topping the field of 65 teams that registered for the 2nd annual tournament sponsored Tobacco Plus with a five-fish stringer of 24.07 lbs., Bagwell and Price brought home a check of $4,000.00 for their efforts. Second place and winners of $2,500.00 were Trey Bales and Dylan Edminston with third place and a check of $1,000.00 going to Dusty Nomey and Justin Hilburn. By landing a lunker weighing 10.41 lbs. the team of James Noland and Keith Broussard won the Big Bass Award.
