The temperature went up. The scoring went down. In fact it went so low that it set a new season best at the Tuesday Scramble held at the Jackson Parish Golf Course (JPGC) on April 11th. Winning with a score of 11-under par (25) over the nine-hole, par 36, layout was Brad Porter, Eddie Gaines, Sonny Gill and Cody Donaldson.
Each Tuesday afternoon the JPGC hosts this tournament that is played in a scramble format. For those not familiar with how a “Scramble Tournament” is played, each team member tees off and then the team decides which ball they want to play. Then each member hits again from that position and so on. Teams for the Tuesday Scramble are chosen by handicap where each team has an A player, B player, C Player, etc.
