Talk about going out in style! Jonesboro-Hodge senior point guard, Ajay Tew, put an exclamation point on his high school career this past Saturday by winning the 3-Point Competition at the “Beast of the Week” All Star game. The tremendous effort didn’t end there either as Tew scored 11 points in the All-Star game to help lead his team to victory. JHHS teammate, Zion Gray, also had a great day, making it to the finals of the Slam Dunk Contest.
The third annual event sponsored by KTVE-10 of Monroe and MyArkLaMiss.com was held at Wossman High School in Monroe and featured many of the best boy and girl senior athletes in Northeast Louisiana. A total of 17 players were offered scholarships after their games.
