Hayden Davis and Maddox Duck of Quitman High School finished in fifth place at the Northeast Louisiana High School (NELAHS) Anglers Fishing Tournament held on Lake Claiborne to lead a strong Jackson Parish top ten finishing contingent.
Just two places behind and with a season best seventh place finish was the all girls team of Hailey Chatham and Addison Ledford from Weston High School. Brody Halbrook and Gabe Walsworth of Gracepoint Christian Academy in Jonesboro also had a season best finish, coming in 9th place, just one spot behind the team of Eddie Hyatt (Lakeside) and Maddox Williams of Saline.
The tournament concluded the NELAHS regular season that found Landin Chatham of Weston and partner Jessie Parker of West Ouachita come in four place overall and the Davis/Duck team finishing in seventh place. Saline’s Maddox Williams and partner Eddie Hyatt of Lakeside High School ended up in sixth. All qualify for the Top-10 Championship Tournament that will be held on April 22nd.
