Jackson Parish Police Jury Issues Proclamation in Memory of Mr. Milton Bryant

In honor of one of our area’s most dedicated civil servant, The Jackson Parish Police Jury issued a Proclamation in Loving Memory of Mr. Milton Bryant. The United States Navy Veteran served Jackson Parish in the position of Justice of the Peace for more than 20 years and was a respected Deacon at the St. Rest Baptist Church in Quitman where his Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, May 13th. Born on August 29, 1944, Bryant passed on May 4th, 2023, at the age of 78 years old.

PROCLAMATION
In Loving Memory of 
Mr. Milton Bryant

Whereas, Mr. Milton Bryant faithfully served his community as Justice of the Peace for more than 20 years; and

Whereas, he served his country in the Unites States Navy fighting for our freedom; and

Whereas, he was a dedicated and respected deacon at St. Rest Baptist Church where he passionately served the church members and our Lord; and

Now therefor be it proclaimed, that we, the members of the Jackson Parish Police Jury, do hereby wish to express our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Milton Bryant for your tremendous sorrow and loss by the passing from this life, on Thursday, May 4, 2023.
