QHS Athletic Banquet evokes memories of great year in sports

The outstanding accomplishments achieved by participants of the 11 varsity sports fielded by Quitman High School this past school year were recognized this past Monday, May 15th, at the annual Wolverine Athletic Banquet.

The QHS sports program had a banner year highlighted by a state runner-up finish in softball, 3rd place state golf tournament finish, multiple district championships, and even a national championship qualifying effort. Individually, several were crowned as state track and field champions as well as having many receiving All-State and All-District recognition.
