Angela Jean (Nolan) Nomey
September 25, 1958 – July 1, 2023

angie nomeyAngela Jean Nolan Nomey was born September 25, 1958, in Farmerville, Louisiana, and passed away July 1, 2023, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, after a lengthy illness.

Angie was proceeded in death by her father, Emmett Earl Nolan, and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gray Nolan, and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Bennett.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Bettye Jean Bennett Nolan; husband, Sonny Nomey; her daughters, April Dambois Audirsch (Jason) and Camille Nomey; her sons, Dustin Dambois (Leslie) and Trey Nomey (Pam); her grandchildren, Dylan Nomey, Trinity Audirsch, Harlan Dambois, Jackson, Caleb, Caden, and Sunni; and numerous cousins and friends. Angie never met a stranger!

She is also survived by one brother, Matthew Bennett Nolan (Tricia) and three special nieces, Audrey, Olive, and Rosemary Nolan.

Angie grew up in Farmerville and attended East Union Academy and Farmerville High School where she was a cheerleader and was voted “Campus Cutie”. She enjoyed spending her summers water skiing with her family on Lake D’Arbonne and riding horses with her dad and brother. Angie loved music from an early age, and she was very proud of her collection of records and 8-tracks. Angie is best described as loving and compassionate. She will always be remembered for her patience, love of people, and her contagious smile.

Angie’s family would like to acknowledge her love of all animals. She had a special relationship with her dogs, Jack, Missy, and Buttercup, who will surely miss Angie’s daily treats and pep talks.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 5th at Grace Community Church in Jonesboro with her Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the St. Lucy Catholic Cemetery in Hodge, LA under the direction of Paradise Funeral Home.
