Jackson Parish Schools show jump in LEAP testing scores for third straight year


On August 2, 2023, The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) released LEAP results for the 2022-23 school year. For the third year in a row, Jackson Parish schools have increased their proficiency in English/Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies for grades 3-12. Overall, Jackson Parish students showed a 1 percentage jump of student scoring Mastery and above. Below are the individual school results:

Jonesboro- Hodge High School – 2% growth
Jonesboro – Hodge Middle School – 2% growth
Jonesboro-Hodge Elementary School – 2% growth
Quitman High School – 1% growth
Weston High School – No change
