Police Jury announces Special Called Meeting to be held on Wednesday

The Jackson Parish Police Jury announces a Special Called Meeting will be held at 5:45 pm on Wednesday, August 23rd in the Nathaniel Zeno, Jr. Meeting Room of the Jackson Parish Administrative Building, located at 160 Industrial Drive in Jonesboro. 

police jury logo 2Prior to the special session the JPPJ Personnel Committee, consisting of John McCarty (Chairman), Lewis Chatham and Keith Burris, will meet at 5:10 pm followed by the Finance Committee comprised of Todd Culpepper (Chairman), Amy Magee and John McCarty meeting at 5:30 pm.

1. Consider and act on the hiring of 2 General Laborers for the Road Department, per the Road Committee’s recommendation.
2. Consider and act on transferring the payroll process back to the Administrative Office, per the Personnel Committee’s recommendation.
3. Consider and act on the addition of an Administrative Clerk at the Administrative Office and the posting for the full-time permanent position of Administrative Clerk, per the Personnel Committee’s recommendation.
4. Consider and approve Q2 Budget Amendments, per Finance Committee’s recommendation.
