
Recently the eight Fire Protection Districts in Jackson Parish received payments from the Jackson Parish Police Jury as part of the 2% state fire insurance tax rebate program.
The total amount each received was based on the shares of the tax collected by the Commission of Insurance and remitted to the State Treasurer according to the number of citizens served in regard to the total population of the parish.
Shown below is a breakdown of each Fire Protection District rebate received.
