What happens when you take a youth group out into the “wild” for the day???
Fun, Learning, Fellowship, Unexpected Connections, New Career Ideas, Hands On Activities, Community Involvement, Industry Explorations… the list is endless.
Facilitated by the LSU AgCenter, Jackson Parish 4-H Jr Leaders, and amazing community partners, a large group of 4th graders got to enjoy a full day at the Jimmie Davis State Park.
Included was the opportunity to learn about insects, animals, trees and rocks as well as get to explore on the many nature trails. Adding to the fun was a picnic lunch and time for socializing with their friends.
